Closing the Teach For America Blogging Gap

…but I have graduated and been through institute.
Friday marks my competition as a 3rd grade summer school teacher in Atlanta, GA. It has been experience that I will probably never be able to explain in its entirety. To sum it up, my days began w/ me begin awake, through the lunch line, in the cafeteria, and on the bus by 6:30. Yes, AM. In the last 5 weeks, I have adjusted to being in my classroom by 7 am. Teacher in the morning, and a student in the afternoon (in sessions). I have learned a great deal- about investment, management, diversity, and curriculum. My days ended with me lesson planning and hoping to be in bed by 1 am at the latest to repeat the next day
